Con el propósito de fortalecer la lucha contra la violencia de género, el fiscal general de la República, Tarek William Saab, encabezó reunión interinstitucional de alto nivel del Sistema de Justicia de Género.
El encuentro se realizó en la sede del organismo, en el cual participaron las ministras para la Mujer y de Servicios Penitenciarios, Diva Guzmán y Mirelys Contreras, respectivamente, además del Defensor del Pueblo, Alfredo Ruíz y el Defensor Público, Daniel Ramírez.
El fiscal general de la República, Tarek William Saab, instó a los funcionarios a intensificar los esfuerzos para garantizar el respeto a los derechos de las féminas.
Además, Saab exhortó al Servicio Nacional de Medicina y Ciencias Forenses (Senamecf), a dar celeridad a la ejecución y entrega de resultados de experticias, para garantizar el impulso procesal de los casos.
Finalmente, hizo un llamado a los cuerpos de seguridad para ser diligentes en la atención de las denuncias sobre la violencia contra la mujer, además de garantizar el cumplimiento de las medidas de protección.

In order to strengthen the fight against gender violence, the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, led a high-level inter-institutional meeting of the Gender Justice System.
The meeting was held at the agency’s headquarters, in which the Ministers for Women and Penitentiary Services, Diva Guzmán and Mirelys Contreras, respectively, participated, in addition to the Ombudsman, Alfredo Ruíz, and the Public Defender, Daniel Ramírez.
The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, urged officials to intensify efforts to guarantee respect for the rights of women.
In addition, Saab urged the National Service of Medicine and Forensic Sciences (Senamecf), to speed up the execution and delivery of the results of expertise, to guarantee the procedural momentum of the cases.
Finally, he called on the security forces to be diligent in dealing with complaints about violence against women, in addition to guaranteeing compliance with protection measures.
